Could not possibly disappoint although the rock lights are not delivered yet

I was pretty surprised that the lenses I bought were delivered before the rock lights themselves could come off the production line. But I decided to put it/them through a little test with a stainless steel 3W LED bolt (not eagle eye LED bolts, but the best from Oznium.com) and shone it through blue and yellow lenses.

First of all, the lenses are built tough. They're thick, with just a little flex to rebound high velocity objects (pebbles, road crap, etc.), and the blue lens is so deep in colour that it seemed like a light source may not penetrate much. I was wrong. It all depends on the colour temperature of the light source, but both blue and amber lenses that I bought literally cast their respective colours despite the LED bolt being an ultraviolet colour, somewhere in the 395nm wavelength. WOW!

I really look forward to receiving the rock lights... I have some pretty serious plans beyond what "rock lights" are expected to do and where you're likely to find them installed.
